Our business, Inspired Builders, recently completed a home addition project for a customer in Santa Clara, CA. The customer, Sandeep S., had been considering adding on to their home for several months when they came across our business online. They reached out to us and we scheduled a consultation.
During the consultation, we learned that the customer wanted to reconfigure the floorplan of their home and update several parts of the house, including the cabinets, appliances, countertops, sinks, flooring and lighting. They were specifically interested in an L-shaped floorplan with an island and wanted flat-panel, slab cabinets. For the countertops, they wanted quartzite, and they wanted undermount sinks. They also wanted porcelain flooring and undercabinet, pendant and recessed lighting.
We explained to the customer that we could easily handle all of their requests and that we would be able to complete the project within several months. They were happy to hear this and decided to hire us for the job.
We got started right away and began working on reconfiguring the floorplan. This was a bit challenging, but we eventually got it done to the customer’s satisfaction. Next, we started working on the cabinets. We ran into a bit of a problem with the size of the cabinets, but we were eventually able to get them installed. After that, we moved on to the appliances, countertops, sinks and flooring. We had no problems with any of these and were able to complete the project within the timeframe we had originally estimated.
The customer was very happy with the results of our work and was especially pleased with how quickly we were able to complete the project. They have since told us that they would highly recommend our business to anyone who is considering adding on to their home.
